Vacation season has finally arrived! Whether you’re taking three days or two weeks off, a camping trip to Raleigh, NC, will give the whole family something fun to look forward to.
From beautiful woodlands to vibrant city life, Raleigh is a dynamic vacation destination. While this area has several campsites, the William B. Umstead State Park is a beautiful choice. You’ll love the stately forests, rolling hills, and sparkling lakes. Make sure to reserve a motorhome rental today for your trip.
Camping Areas
Open March 15–December 15 of each year, this state park features 28 campsites that are shaded by stately trees. The campsites don’t have hookups for RV rentals, but the park does have centrally located drinking water and restrooms. Each campsite has a picnic table and grill, as well. Spots fill quickly, so reservations are encouraged. Reserve your campsite online, or call the parks department at 1-877-722-6762.
